Winning Campaign
The 2016 MINSAL Vaccination Campaign is subject to a public contest to which all major media organizations apply via the Chilean public contests ecosystem.
In 2016 I was a newcomer to OMD, and helped found Públicamente, a small arm of OMD dedicated exclusively to applying to these governmental contests.
This vaccination campaign was our first time participating in the contest, and was also our first win. The angle I developed was centered around two bandaids arranged in a cross or ‘x’, which is often used in text messages to mean “for”, and therefore can be inserted into an encouraging phrase quite easily.
